Gina is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University and a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. She specializes in depression, fertility counseling, eating disorders, anxiety, athlete mental health and life transitions. Gina’s prior clinical experience in the field of eating disorders includes working as an individual, group and family therapist at ED-180, Long Island’s first physician-owned and operated intensive outpatient program. Gina also has a special interest in the mental health treatment of first-generation Americans. She is dedicated to always evolving her knowledge base in the field through continuing education and certifications. Gina holds post graduate certifications in the Fundamentals of Cognitive Behavioral Treatment; and Nutrition and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Clinicians, both from Adelphi University. Moreover, she is the current administrator of the New York Mental Health Counselors Association’s Metro chapter. Gina also completed training to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Competency Professional and is a certified Tele-Mental Health Treatment provider.
